Staging FAQ

Staging is the art of removing any and all obstacles that would prevent a buyer from purchasing your home. That's why the bulk of staging involves de-cluttering and de-personalization.  A deep clean and some pre-packing go a long way to getting you on your way to selling your current home and starting your life in your new home!

There are also ways to direct how a buyer tours your home and draw their eye toward the home's selling points and away from it's less-flattering qualities.  A professional home stager can solve issues with flow and storage and make visual suggestions for the use of a space that will capture the buyer's attention and set your home apart from the many other listings they see.

Is  Staging Expensive?

The cost of staging varies and can be tailored to meet both the needs of your home and your budget.  Most homes don't need to be fully staged and furnished and just need some advice from a professional and a few tweaks.  Work with us to decide if you need just our recommendations, which would be included in our regular commission, or if you need the help of a professional stager which can range from around $200 for a consultation to several thousands of dollars if you wanted to fill an entire home with furnishings that were designed to titillate.
